Liposculpture for the perfect Figure

Liposculpture is a technique associated with liposuction. Liposculpture for body correction is a popular method these days. It is used to remove the excess fat from what are known as “problem areas”. It takes the fat out without causing any harm to the surrounding blood vessels, connective tissue and nerves. It is a process that requires lesser recovery time than liposuction and is comparatively less painful. If you have an excessive amount of fat deposition in areas like the arms, abdomen, upper and lower back or male breasts, then liposculpture is the way to go. It is effective for these areas as ordinary exercise and diet are not of much help when it comes to removing fat from these regions.

Liposculpture makes use of ultrasound to disintegrate the fat depositions so that they can be easily taken out from the body. Alternatively it is also known as ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty or UAL. In this process, a generous amount of saline fluid is infused into the body, similar to the one used in the process of tumescent liposuction. The liquid comprises of adrenaline and local anesthesia which creates a sensation of numbness, so that the patient becomes immune to the pain. It also causes the blood vessels to shrink. Since a local anesthesia is used the patient can actually see the procedure taking place without feeling the pain.

The next step of liposculpture involves the insertion of a cannula through the incision and the layers of fat that have been deposited. The cannula then begins its works as it leads to the production of ultrasound energy that leads the fat cell walls to burst. The fat melts and it is suctioned out of the system. This fat is in a fluid state and is therefore less potentially dangerous to harm the adjoining tissues, a risk that persists in the case of other forms of liposuction.

Liposculpture is preferred by many owing to its minimal side effects and the least possible time required for complete recovery. It may show immediate results but as you proceed on the path of recovery; your skin may exhibit signs of shrinking. You also have the option of going for a fat injection treatment once the fat has been extracted. You may have heard people saying how they opted for procedures like belly fat reduction and love handles liposuction or cellulite removal. All these are the results of a liposculpture procedure. However, you should not think that it can help you reduce weight.

When you are on a diet or a weight loss program, you (women) generally tend to lose weight from the breast region. That leaves you with sagging breasts. When you opt for a liposculpture procedure, the fat from other parts of your body can be injected in the breast region, lips and cheeks to change the appearance of these regions. You need to discuss everything with your doctor prior to the surgery including the budget. You could do some research on your own as well as there are several websites, books and journals from where you can acquire authentic information on the subject.
